Somchat Suwan is a structural engineer and naval architect, and has worked on a wide range of offshore/onshore energy projects from concept study to detailed engineering design and construction support, and has taken on many international assignments.

Somchat’s main responsibility is to lead discipline or project design teams on a variety of energy projects including offshore gravity based substructures, marine facilities and LNG storage tanks.

Somchat’s technical expertise covers structural analysis and design of concrete and steel structures in marine environments, cryogenic storage tanks, hydrodynamics, naval architecture and marine operations engineering.
