Associate Professor at Istanbul Technical University

Istanbul Technical University (Civil Engineering)

Dr. Sari has over 20 years of experience in analysis of Onshore and Offshore structures. He has professional experience in dynamic analysis and design of Onshore and Offshore structures and equipment to resist blast loads from high explosives, and vapor cloud explosions. He has analyzed and designed a variety of blast resistant structures including reinforced concrete structures, unreinforced and reinforced masonry structures, wood and steel frame structures. Dr. Sari has also performed innovative and cost efficient upgrades for reinforced concrete, steel and masonry structures to resist blast loads. He managed several projects on blast resistance evaluation of airports, court houses, federal buildings and buildings in petrochemical facilities.
